Want a great turnout to your next upcoming meeting? Make it look FUN and you'll be amazed at how many people attend. They'll have no second thoughts over canceling their Proctologist appointment, rescheduling their family intervention meeting and ditching their fish bowl that's in desperate need of a cleaning, if it means they will have fun while gaining helpful information. The last thing people need these days is another boring time consuming meeting. And how do you know it's going to be boring? The first dead giveaway...the invite is boring! It's probably a long winded email inviting you to attend with a subject line like, "Technology and You" or it's a video with a really stiff professional constipated looking person who appears to have been held at gun point to make a video just so they could say their company vlogs. How much better would it be to immediately set up your meeting as something unique & out of the box, not same o' same o', and makes people WANT to come?!
The National Speakers Association in Northern California used a Creative Message Media video in order to promote their upcoming technology meeting, and no, it wasn't titled "Technology and You." In this video, my 7 year old daughter Lindsay, stars in the opening act as "Mystic Mona" and is followed by a much older version of Mystic Mona, age is not being disclosed here. We both had a lot of fun making this video and it certainly helped the viewers believe that this technology meeting wasn't just important and helpful but it was going to be FUN!
